In-Person Testing
- Complete the exam registration to schedule an in-person appointment. You will need your ECC 7-digit numerical ID number.
Remote Testing
Reading and Writing Placement Exams
- Students who need the Reading and/or Writing placement exams should complete the Remote Reading and Writing Testing Enrollment Form. Students will not be able to test without completing this form.
- Complete one form for each exam. For example, if you are taking both the Reading and Writing placement exam, you will need to complete a form for Reading in addition to a form for Writing. This will equal two separate forms.
- You only need to complete each form one time. Please do not submit your forms more than once.
- Instructions will be sent to your ECC student email 24-48 business hours after the form(s) have been submitted.
- To test, you will need your ECC ID and email address. This is a required field in the exam.
Math Placement Exam
- Contact the Testing Center at testing@elgin.edu for instructions.
- The Math Placement Exam is remote and can be taken at any day/time of the week.
